[By NBC-1TV H. J Yook]‘Miss Asia Pacific World’s committee member (Chief Organization Commissioner: Andre Jung), who is going through a difficult time with the case involving Miss Myanmar May Myat Noe Aung, announced he is preparing to file criminal charges against her mother and suing for punitive damage.

Chief Commissioner, Andre Jung states that ‘May Myat Noe Aung said in a press conference with about 100 reporters from around the world, that committee members forced her to have plastic surgery from head to toe and perform sexual favors to political figures.’ This false claim has damaged the reputation of the committee, the sponsors and the country.

Therefore, on the 22nd of this month, the chairman consulted with JoonGyu-Kim, a lawyer who previously served as the 37th Attorney General of Korea. At that meeting, Mr. Kim said he would introduce Mr. Jung to an international lawyer in Myanmar.

The committee members all agreed that they would press criminal charges to have Miss Myanmar May Myat Noe Aung and her mother arrested and put into prison. After that they would further investigate the case.

Former Attorney General of Korea, JoonGyu-Kim is known in the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Korea for having a ‘great deal of knowledge in international affairs’ due to the fact that he has worked in legal affairs and cooperation at the United States Embassy, as well as in the international legal affairs division at the Korea Department of Justice.

In 2008, he served as the first Korean to be the Asian representative vice chairman of the International Association of Prosecutors. In 2011, he also hosted the World Conference of Prosecutors in Korea.

The committee members state that ‘May Myat Noe Aung has ruined the reputation and brand of the Miss Asia Pacific World Organization so greatly that the return of the crown or even her death would not solve this problem. She also has ruined the relationship between Myanmar and South Korea.

This has caused a strain on business relations between the two countries as well. Furthermore, she is the prime reason for the decline in the cultural interchange between Asian countries.

She has persistently lied in fluent Korean saying “I was forced into getting surgery.” But at the press conference she stated “I never got surgery.” In an interview on MBC TV Korea’s “Real Story Eye”, she stated that “when my mother and I signed the consent operation agreement,

I thought it was Medical Check. I didn't know the meaning of the signature.” Through this false interview, she has deceived the entire world press making South Korea the laughing stock of the world.

JaeEun-Ha, a media critic for MBC’s “Real Story”, states that ‘due to one foreign woman’s accusations of being forced to perform sexual favors, the entire entertainment industry in South Korea has been shaken.

”The Miss Asia Pacific World Organization states that ‘the most important reason for pressing criminal charges is to prevent the Korean entertainment industry from collapsing due to her false accusations. By thoroughly punishing her, this will prevent her from ever making any more false accusations.’

The World Organization states that ‘the Korean National Police Agency determined that the 2011 Miss Asia Pacific controversy involving Miss Wales, was a false report but some members of the Korean media who are not privy to all the facts, have made a social issue of our pageant and are sensationalizing news stories that say that our beauty pageant is giving South Korea a bad image.

We, the World Organization are carefully monitoring all these members in the press as well as the broadcasters and we will prevent them from ruining our beauty pageant with these false stories’.
