[By NBC-1TV K, Y Yi] LAUSANNE, Switzerland (August 27, 2020) - World Taekwondo today outlined how the global taekwondo family can help Lebanese children in need through its newly launched ‘Great Champion Scholarship.’

The scholarship was launched by World Taekwondo President Chungwon Choue to help children in Lebanon tragically affected by the recent explosion in Beirut. The scholarship will directly cover children’s school and education fees.
World Taekwondo and Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation (THF) have launched a social media campaign to raise money to fund the scholarship. The campaign calls on people to ‘Recreate, Donate and Nominate:

ﾷ Recreate: Recreate a pose where you stand with your hands clasped in a sign of respect, condolence and solidarity with those who have been affected. The pose can take place wherever you are in the world and should be posted on social media with the hashtag #WTstands
