[By NBC-1TV H. J Yook]Dental medical equipment manufacturer Maruchi CEO Seong-Wook Chang revealed that “for the busy modern people, we will develop dental medical treatment device that is simpler, safer, and quicker to open the one-day clinic market.”

Maruchi turned to a corporation in 2008, and constructed a clean room at the Wonju headquarters in order to provide high-quality dental medical device through consistent production process for all products, and founded annexed research institute in Hongneung Venture Complex under Korea Advanced Institute for Science and Technology in 2010.

Its representative product is Endocem developed in 2008, which is drawing attention in that it enhance the weaknesses of MTA, the existing dental nerve treatment material.

The existing MTA has low viscosity which makes it difficult to manipulate, it also takes long to harden and costs much, but Endocem improves upon such weakness of existing MTA by increasing viscosity for easier use and hardening within 3 minutes 15 seconds, so that the treatment can be completed in just one visit.

Currently, Maruchi has completed various patent registrations for Endocem, and is supplying to seminars, lectures, and college hospitals, and is exporting to Europe and Poland, Iran, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lithuania, and Syria.
