J Yook]DONGA ENG Co., Ltd., (CEO: Byung Jo Kang, www.dongaeng.co.kr) a company manufacturing molds for automotive interior parts, said “it had acquired a 4,800-square-foot factory building of Germany’s Schuler Group, and it has inaugurated the production plant in the Czech Republic as of June 13 this year.”

The production plant in the Czech Republic is located in Mokov in the eastern region of the Czech Republic. There are the automotive plants such as Hyundai, Kia, Peugeot, Volkswagen, Opel, Toyota, etc. around it.

Particularly, it has highway D1 and E462 so that it has a convenient transportation. In addition, the production plant is close to the countries such as Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, etc.; thereby, supplying products easily.

DAE EU s.r.o. produces stamping die of automotive exterior part that has a maximum size of 5 x 3m and a weight of 30 tons, headlining that is a component of automotive interior part, carpet, truck side, insulator parts molds, injection mold, etc. It is able to supply the primary mold suppliers of the European automakers; moreover, it is also able to perform modification works for design changes.

Korean mold products that have been exported to Europe so far have had the export-related problem because they could not find a repair shop in Europe. Going forward, DAE EU s.r.o. will be able to accommodate all of Korea mold products (press mold, interior part mold, injection mold) that have been exported to Europe as offering A/S immediately through the plant in the Czech Republic.

The plant possesses a total of 30 units of equipment facilities including 6 CNC equipment, 6 surface grinding machines, 4 drilling machines, press machine of 250 tons, a three-dimensional measuring inspection machine, etc. with CATIA, AUTOCAD and the TEBIS system. Korea staff is residing in the plant to support visitors.

In addition, DAE EU s.r.o. is supplying mold products to overseas manufacturers such as Muller Weingarten, Schuler, Bonatrans, CAD/CAM Solution, FIAT, KUKA, PWO, SKODA, etc. through the ISO9001 quality assurance system. Going forward, it plans to strengthen the future production capacity with the addition of production facilities.
