[By NBC-1TV E. H Kim]Biltz Green Co.,Ltd.(CEO HyoSeop Shim, www.biltz-green.co.kr), Korea’s flagship company for eco-friendly synthetic lumber, acquired KS certification for the field of synthetic lumber on August 22.

KS certification(KS F-3230) for synthetic lumber is a technical standard established for the first time in March this year by the Agency for Technology Standards of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

There has been the need for the establishment of technical standards for synthetic lumber in order to prevent flooding of low-quality synthetic lumbers and foreign low-quality synthetic lumbers as synthetic lumbers have been emerging as an eco-friendly products due to the problems of treatment woods, such as low quality and environmental pollution. Thus, the first examination of product certification was started last month.

The name has been also changed to ‘bottom plate of wood plastic composite’, the national standard name, instead of “synthetic lumber” during the process of determining the KS standard.

Biltz Green Co., Ltd. Acquired KS product certificate (certificate No. 12-1477) from the president of Korean Standards Association on August 22 through the examination of plant for two days, July 9 to 10 as a result of the company’s active attempt to get the product certificate as being empowered the recognition of its synthetic lumber technology and product quality through a variety of authentications.

The active participation of all employees in the screening process under the quality management policy of “realization of customer satisfaction with the best products” and the quality management objective of “zero complaints from customers” and “zero defects” based on the technical capabilities of ‘Click Wood’, which is an eco-friendly synthetic lumber using the chaff for the first time in Korea, has helped to acquire KS certification.
