(Cortina®), which delivers innovative technologies linking people and networks worldwide, today announced the availability of a universal turnkey platform for real world EPON/GPON ONU deployments. This solution consists of an optimized reference board design using Cortina Systems® CS8232 Dual-mode EPON/GPON ONU System-on-a-Chip (SoC), a royalty-free source code for turnkey OAM/OMCI and TR069 stack, and an open CPU platform for ODM/OEM customizations. ODM/OEMs can quickly bring a field-proven solution to market, while having the flexibility to extend and customize their product to meet specific carrier requirements.
