OT Releases the Fastest MasterCard Dual Interface Payment Card on the Market

In the urban transport, contactless technology has always been challenged for its speed performances and its level of security. Indeed, the most difficult challenge of the Open Payment is the transaction speed during validation at the gate. It must be very fast to ensure maximum fluidity of commuter’s traffic and fulfil stringent authorization to access the network. Thanks to this new EMV dual interface card, the users of public transport network will experience the fastest way to travel in urban areas.

Oberthur Technologies’ Chrysalis Fly v3.0 is the first card significantly converging between payment and public transport ecosystems. OT offers banks new revenue streams by promoting the usage of their MasterCard payment instruments for Open Payment in transit network. This innovative usage will bring additional value to cardholders’ payment cards.
