[By NBC-1TV K, Y Yi] SEOUL, Korea (June 17, 2021) - The World Taekwondo Council today confirmed to postpone the Wuxi 2021 World Taekwondo Championships at the request of the Wuxi government. The World Taekwondo Presidential and Council elections will go ahead as planned but will be conducted virtually. The Council discussed that China’s current policy means that many teams would not be able to enter the country or would have to quarantine for weeks.
