[By NBC-1TV S. A Lee]March 3, 2014 is the 200-day mark to the opening of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games on September 19. To commemorate the occasion, the 2014 Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee (IAGOC) revealed a photograph of a body performance that formed “AG D-200”.
The Seojung Dance, a creative dance troupe that finds inspiration from traditional Korean dance motifs, performed the body formation. Lee Mi-hee, the founder and artistic director of the Seojung Dance, was a choreographer for the opening ceremony of the 2005 Asian Athletics Championships in Incheon, and planned the body performance to wish the success of another major international sporting event being held in Incheon.
Ms. Lee said, “This is the biggest international sporting event in Korea in 12 years. I hope the 2014 Incheon Asian Games will be the most successful Asian Games ever.”
