[By NBC-1TV H. J Yook]With the corporate spirit of “Always Ahead”, Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) constantly gains insights of global trends in mobile Internet and value-added service. Thus, CHT announce forming an alliance with Mozilla, and will be showcasing services at the Mobile Asia Expo.
“In the future, Chunghwa Telecom will be able to launch more value-added and customized mobile services via the Web-based Firefox OS platform, giving customers the most optimized mobile experience and convenient environment,” said LIN, Kuo-Feng, President, Chunghwa Telecom Mobile Business Group.
Chunghwa Telecom leads the telecom operators in Taiwan by launching the very first 4G LTE high-speed mobile Internet service, officially taking Taiwan into the new age of 4G. CHT also continues to lead the technological development of mobile telecommunications, launching a variety of value-added services and applications, which have won CHT international recognition. For this year’s MAE in Shanghai, CHT once again garners the recognition of the organizer, which includes CHT’s show booth into the VIP touring route.
With rapid developments of the mobile Internet, consumers’ needs for mobile value-added applications are quickly increasing. Asia NFC Alliance is actively expanding the foundation for the technological development of NFC applications. Since its formation in February, the Alliance has already established its official website (http://www.asianfcalliance.org) to leverage its strengths to attract more cross-border operators to make their existing NFC technologies interoperable on a shared service platform, enabling high-quality services that transcend all national borders. This way, consumers can enjoy high-quality NFC services by CHT regardless of where they are.
