Jan Norgaard Lauridsen Joins Heidrick & Struggles as Partner

He will be based out of the Singapore office.

With more than 20 years of experience in the shipping and logistics sector with some of the largest companies in the world, Jan will be a valuable addition to Heidrick & Struggles' Industrial Practice. His deep knowledge and sector experience across various global markets will be a differentiating asset and bring great value for clients.

Lauridsen is highly regarded as one of the leading experts in the shipping and logistics industry. He will be focused on Asia-Pacific growth and emerging markets.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles Lauridsen was the Regional Managing Director, Asia Pacific at TORM. Before that, Lauridsen was in charge of Asia Pacific as Senior Vice President with Inchcape Shipping Services. Lauridsen also worked for NOL in various positions, including serving as Managing Director for APL and APL Logistics in Dubai. Earlier in his career Lauridsen spent more than 10 years in A.P. Møller Maersk with increasing responsibilities in various shipping and logistics positions and had sailed as a Captain for Maersk Line.

Lauridsen holds his ship's master degrees from Fano Navigationsskole and has completed various executive management courses at INSEAD and other global business schools.
